Jürgen Schlichting counsels his client companies (including sporting event organizers, automotive suppliers, vehicle customization companies and real estate companies) not only in matters pertaining to corporate law and the respective company-specific legal issues, but frequently also in the area of corporate planning and development – some of them for decades already. This includes M&A transactions. In addition to his notarial duties, he is also active in the area of process control – focusing on commercial law and corporate law, banking law, IP law (especially trademark law and design law) and accountant and public accountant liability law.
He speaks fluent English.
Jürgen Schlichting studied law at the University of Saarbrücken and the University of Bonn. He was admitted to the bar in 1983 and had been working for Grüter ever since. He was appointed as a notary in 2004.
